Salem College Plans For An East Campus

The present 60-acre Salem campus is in need of additional space for new science buildings, dormitories, and athletic facilities. Winston-Salem’s City Yard, which may become available is about 25-acres east of the current campus. This would be a strategic move to align the growth of the college with the burgeoning Piedmont Triad Research Park next door. Salem Academy and College board of trustees has voted to endorse a plan for an east campus and will embark on a capital campaign beginning in 2014.
